Reef Mineral Salt is used to replace the mineral components that can become imbalanced during calcium and alkalinity supplementation. In Balling-style dosing, calcium chloride and sodium bicarbonate can contribute to sodium chloride buildup over time, while NaCl-free mineral salt helps maintain a more natural balance of major and trace components.

Reef Mineral Salt Use Notes

AquaForest Reef Mineral Salt Directions

1. Dissolve 25 g of Reef Mineral Salt in 1000 ml of RODI water.
2. Use alongside Calcium, KH Buffer, and Magnesium supplementation based on test results and daily consumption.
3. Dose the prepared Reef Mineral Salt solution in the same liquid amount as the Calcium and KH Buffer solutions.
4. Combine with Magnesium in one prepared solution if following the manufacturer method.
5. Continue regular water changes as part of normal reef maintenance.
